I am a Phd student on the MERMAID project, and hold a master’s degree in zooarchaeology from the University of Strasbourg. My research focuses on exploring the continuities/variations in the seasonal organization of fishing and collecting activities in ancient Mediterranean communities. Specifically, I investigate marine faunal remains, including fish bones and shells, extracted from archaeological sites. I focus particularly on the most commonly exploited species in Aegean prehistory and antiquity. To address these questions comprehensively, my thesis adopts a multidisciplinary and diachronic approach.
