I’m an assistant Professor at the University Côte d’Azur and a member of the ECOSEAS laboratory (UMR 7035). My research focuses on the impact of climate change on marine biodiversity. I’m specialized in numerical ecology and modelling. Previously, I have worked as a postdoctoral researcher, successively at the Mediterranean Institute of Oceanography (Marseille), Villefranche Oceanographic Laboratory (Villefranche sur Mer), Oceanology and Geosciences Laboratory (Wimereux) and Monaco Scientific Center (Monaco).

These last years, I have focused part of my work on the modelling of the climate-induced range shifts of the main harvested species in the Mediterranean Sea: small pelagic fishes, demersal fishes and cephalopods. I’m also interested in studying the spread of non-indigenous species in the Mediterranean Sea, that is facilitated by the warming of the Sea.

I participate with enthusiasm in the MERMAID project as a partner in the workpackage 2 “From ancient catches to ancient biodiversity”. My aim in the project is to model the ancient spatial distribution of biodiversity using zooarcheological and paleoenvironmental data. This work will be achieved with the help of a postdoctoral researcher.
